Siyabonga Majija

Meet Siyabonga Majija, one of our dedicated Candidate Attorneys at MVR.

Hailing from the small village of KwaMajija in Ngcobo, Siyabonga comes from a family deeply rooted in education — his great-grandfather, Lewis Majija, was the village’s only teacher and a passionate advocate for learning.

Inspired by his grandfather’s work as a court interpreter and assessor at the Mthatha High Court, Siyabonga’s love for problem-solving and knowledge led him to pursue a career in law. After transitioning from the medical field to complete his LLB, he now finds fulfilment in contributing to meaningful legal work at MVR.

His biggest lesson so far? “Do not rush your work and always strive to produce quality.”
When he’s not immersed in law, Siyabonga enjoys watching and playing sports — and cherishes time spent in solitude to recharge.
