Tiyiselani is a seasoned attorney with over six years of post-admission experience across multiple areas of law. He holds an LLB from North-West University and an LLM in Public Procurement Policy & Regulation from Stellenbosch University.
Tiyiselani provides legal services to both public and private sector clients, specializing in Public Regulatory Law, Administrative Law, Public Procurement, Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Public Finance and Treasury Regulation, and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment.
He has represented and advised numerous prestigious clients, including Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa Limited (IDC), Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), Transnet SOC Limited, Lepelle Northern Water Board, Land Bank, City of Johannesburg, National Empowerment Fund Corporation SOC Limited (NEF), Mobile Technology Network (Pty) Limited (MTN), Siyanda Resources Mining, IDF Capital (Pty) Limited, and African Bank Limited.
In addition to his public regulatory expertise, Tiyiselani is a specialist in litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on commercial disputes, public sector litigation, and engineering and construction law. His experience includes cases in various High Courts, the Supreme Court of Appeal, and the Constitutional Court, as well as proceedings in quasi-judicial forums and tribunals.
Tiyiselani also supports the Corporate and Commercial departments by assisting with mergers and acquisitions, drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on company law and corporate governance, and providing guidance on insolvency and business rescue.
